Baton Rouge Author Miranda Hirezi Mugnier Hosts Successful Book Event at Barnes & Noble.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana — March 8, 2026

Author Miranda Hirezi Mugnier held a successful author event at Barnes & Noble on Bluebonnet Boulevard in Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 7, where readers gathered for an afternoon of storytelling, conversation, and book signing.

The event, which ran from 2:00 p.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., featured readings from Mugnier’s memoir, Scattered, Yet Whole. Guests listened as the author shared selected excerpts from the book, which traces her life journey across several countries before ultimately settling in Louisiana.

Originally scheduled to include two readings, audience members asked the author to read an additional excerpt, creating an engaging and interactive atmosphere. Following the readings, attendees participated in a discussion with the author and had the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book and take photographs with her.

The gathering brought together readers interested in personal stories of migration, cultural identity, and resilience—central themes explored throughout Scattered, Yet Whole.

The event was part of Mugnier’s ongoing efforts to introduce her memoir to readers in the Baton Rouge community and beyond.
